Q. I have been suffering from premature ejaculation over the last four years. I do not have recurrent erections as I use to. I am not capable to engage in sexual intercourse for prolonged periods of time because of the above two factors. Though being sexually active at sure stages, I am incapable to do interaction extra frequently.
Many relationships have terminated prematurely because of the above factors affecting my sex life. Please advice.
A. Since I don’t know how old you are, I can’t tell if the fact that you are having less frequent erections stems from the aging procedure, which is standard, or from some other reason, so it is a little difficult for me to answer that part of your question.
However, if you are a young man, it may stem from the problem you are having with premature ejaculation, which is not a physical problem but a learning disability that is without complexity treated. You may well go to a sex therapist; although primary I would try the exercises suggested in “Dr. Ruth’s show to Sensuous and Erotic enjoyment,” Dr. Bernie Zilbergeld’s “Male Sexuality.”
